The "Fill-a-Truck" event is an annual food drive held at the Market Basket at Whitney Field Mall in Leominster, where customers are encouraged to purchase and donate a pre-made tote bag containing items included in the food kits supplied to students on Fridays, offering support for the weekend when school meals are not available.

Bright Eyed is thrilled to be hosting the event this year. Your support and generosity with your time will allow us to provide weekend food kits to more than 300 students for several months.

We Shared the Love this February, raising $5045.00, including a $2500 match from a local sponsor. As a result we will be able to provide 736 weekend food kits to students in the Lunenburg, Leominster and Keystone Collaborative schools.

Together with the help of Market Basket, the local community, and our volunteers, we collected $11,000 worth of Chef Boyardee, Spaghettio’s, Macaroni & Cheese, Oatmeal, Cereal, and Fruit Cups over the course of the two day event. This product will be distributed in our Food Kits during the first few months of school to all the students we serve.

Bright Eyed is thrilled to have been chosen as this month's 'Hannaford Helps Donation Kiosk' at our local Lunenburg store.

Together with Hannaford’s, we collected $354.58 in loose change after check-out and will be able to provide 44 weekend food kits to students in Lunenburg.

Cutie Patuties & Cutiques collected $500.00 through the month of July with their Round-Up program. These funds will go directly to supporting the students of Leominster and Lunenburg, providing 63 weekend food kits to the students.
